Gwyneth Paltrow and Kim Kardashian Swear By CBD

Gwyneth Paltrow and Kim Kardashian Swear By CBD

When it comes to simple health hacks we find it ever so inspiring how other women take care of themselves. Therefore, we decided to put together a piece on women who are on top of their self-care game and the first to make the latest wellness trends a part of their every day routine. Apart from living hectic lives with children, running multiple businesses and making time to workout - the following women have one thing in common; they share our love for CBD rituals!

Let us present three women who swear by the use of CBD.

Gwyneth Paltrow

On top of the wellness-hierarchy-ladder (is that a real thing?) we find Gwyneth Paltrow. Founder and creator of the hyped company Goop, and also one of the first people to introduce CBD to the public eye. Through products like bath bombs, CBD cocktails, CBD cakes and teas, Goop has won customers' hearts and is nestling it’s way into thousands of peoples' life. You might even say they've taken the world with a CBD storm. Gwyneth has personally been using CBD for the last couple of years, and is definitely one of the biggest advocates for how it helps bring balance into your life.

The 47-year old struggled with postpartum depression and has been very transparent about her own healing journey and how it lead to her exploring holistic health remedies. For us, a good rule of thumb is that if Gwyneth Paltrow starts praising something it's about to go mainstream. Who but her manages to be a fun yet powerful force in pioneering our approach to health and wellness?

Goop's legendary This Smells Like My Vagina Candle broke the internet along with the Goop Lab Netflix series. Despite being criticized for some unsubstantiated health claims we think her company is a breath of fresh air in the beauty and health industry. Go Goop!

Kim K

No introduction needed - the one and only Kim Kardashian. Regardless of what you think of her - this women does it all. We don't know if she has more businesses or kids but what we do know is that she loves CBD, claiming it saved her life.

Keeping up with this Kardashian may be more chill than you expected - she has been using CBD for the last two years now. With constant demands from kids, paparazzis, businesses, selfies, her law-degree and her husband (yes, what's up with Kanye?) we can imagine that this gal is conscious about getting more centered.

Call us when you find someone who is more devoted to CBD than Kim! Apparently her passion for CBD went so far that she hosted a CBD and meditation themed babyshower for her 4th child, Palm West. There were CBD-infused chocolate fountains and guests got matching bathing suits to take a dip in a CBD-infused bath. A certified masseuse used CBD massage oils for those in need of some extra self-care during the event. There was also a hemp flower bouquet arrangement station and a foot bath and reflexology station with CBD-infused salts and salves. You get the deal - this women never does thing half-heartedly and we love it! This world needs that level of extra.

Kirsty Godso

The well renowned Nike personal trainer and energy coach Kirsty Godso has been preaching the use of CBD to bring balance to her busy schedule. The New Zealand native has motivated thousands to incorporate movement into their daily lives through her role as a Nike Master Trainer.

Before she was recruited by Nike she was teaching HIIT classes at her local gym in New Zealand. She has a double business degree under her belt and worked in media after graduating but the way working out made her feel inspired her to dive deeper into the fitness world. After moving to New York to work full-time with Nike she has now launched her own supplements- business Made Of and is dedicated to change the way that people view and experience training. We can't wait to see what she does next!

We hope you'll get inspired by these ladies' proactive approach to self-care and how they prioritise health and wellbeing in their life.
